In 2027, UK graduates and others in the priority group are offered interviews and training posts first. Read more here.
Publications now score up to 6 points (was 8) and presentations and posters up to 8 (was 6), so a top poster outscores a top paper.
The 5-point bonus for applying only to IMT or ACCS Internal Medicine in Round 1 has gone.
Abstracts and letters no longer count in the higher publication tiers.

How IMT recruitment works

Two vacancies on the same process: one for England, Northern Ireland and Wales, and one for Scotland, which interviews on its own dates. An application is considered for one of them only. Preferences can be updated after rankings are released and before offers.
